2. The Occasion
Evening time..
The majestic hall was packed with endless rows of beautifully crafted chairs, with a long stretch of red carpet dividing the enormous hall exactly into two. The hall was a splendid sight - bright magical illumination from the high glass ceiling, as well as the eight spires of huge glowing crystals spanned across the hall, lit up the entire great hall with a mystical hue. At the end of the hall was a masterfully decorated platform where a grand throne sits. The splendourous throne, glistening in gold and radiant colours of magical crystals, marked the centre of attention of everyone.
This special throne was magically crafted by many magicians, and have been the symbol of power in Pluto for many years. Made from the most pure and of best quality materials, its glory shone through out the whole hall. It was a spacious seat layered by thick cushioning, with wide, extensive hand rests. On the tip of the left hand rest, was a small circle of green gems - the state of the art, anti-gravity drink stabaliser. Using Pluto magic, these small crystals can balance any container and hover it just inches above the crystals. On the right hand rest lay a small red movement sensor. When it senses the king's hand above it, the silver surface would slide open to reveal a set of controls underneath it. These controls were for many operations related to the grandeur seat, such as hover movement, massaging, shields, teleportation etc. Moreover, it had an elevated foot rest attached to it below, and a head rest made specifically to fit the king's head. On the sides of the seat, there were magnificient sculptures and carvings, crafted by the finest artists of Pluto...
The entire place was fully packed with people, with thousands stuck outside the gates, fighting furiously with one another to get themselves as close to the entrance to the hall as possible. Inside the hall, millions of guests and VIPs were seated, excitedly waiting for the arrival of the king, and inside along with hundreds of ushers guiding their guests to their seats. The VIPs come almost from everywhere - cabinet ministers, ministry heads, cheif magicians, sorcerors and warriors, and even with greater VIPs from other planets...
On the background, the best musical pieces of Pluto that had been playing softly in the hall increased steadily in volume to signal the people to quieten down. As the people got themselves settled down, the magical powers of the ambience music caused a light tingling sensation of pleasure to course through their bodies, relaxing their senses and making them feel really comfortable for the occasion...
Soon, the ceremony was about to begin...
